What is NLP?
NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. In simple terms, it’s a way of understanding how your thoughts, words, and patterns shape your life — and learning how to shift them. With NLP, we uncover limiting beliefs, reframe unhelpful habits, and create new ways of thinking that support your goals. Sessions feel conversational but are designed to gently rewire your mind, helping you move forward with clarity, confidence, and freedom.
What is Human Design?
Human Design, also known as the science of differentiation, is like a blueprint of your energy. Using your birth date, time, and location, it creates a chart that reveals your natural strengths, your decision-making style, and how you’re designed to move through life. A Human Design reading helps you understand yourself more deeply and gives you practical tools for living in alignment with who you truly are.
How do NLP and Human Design work together?
NLP helps you shift the patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back, while Human Design shows you the map of who you naturally are. Together, they give you both the “how” and the “why” — a practical way to release what doesn’t serve you and a clear guide to move forward in alignment.
What happens in a session?
Sessions are relaxed, conversational, and tailored to you. With NLP, we’ll focus on uncovering and shifting patterns. With Human Design, I’ll walk you through your chart in simple, practical terms. Coaching packages combine both, creating space for ongoing support. Each session is designed to leave you with clarity and tools you can use right away — and what we focus on is always guided by what you most want to get out of it.
How long is a session, and how many will I need?
Most sessions last about an hour to an hour and a half. Some people notice shifts after just one NLP session, while others choose to go deeper through a series of sessions or a coaching package. Human Design readings are usually one session, but many clients come back later for deeper dives into specific areas of their chart. I’ll always help guide you toward what’s best for your goals.
Do you work with clients outside of Des Moines?
Yes! I work with clients across the country and internationally through Zoom. Whether you meet with me in person here in Des Moines or online, you’ll receive the same level of clarity and support.
Is NLP like therapy?
NLP is not therapy, it’s a coaching approach that works with both the conscious and subconscious mind to create change. While therapy often focuses on processing the past, NLP is designed to quickly reframe the patterns that shape your present and future. Many clients find it complements therapy or other personal growth work beautifully.
